Mission

The mission of the First Baptist Church Scholarship Ministry is to equip, encourage and empower students (middle school, high school and college) to pursue and attain both Godly and academic knowledge and wisdom. We understand that a college education is the key that unlocks and opens the door to endless options and career opportunities which lead to bright and fulfilling futures

Definition

Assists and supports students who desire to go to college but may not have the financial means to do so. The Scholarship Ministry provides students and parents/guardians with information on how to plan and prepare for higher learning, such as:

• college entrance exam preparation workshops

• college and financial aid application assistance

• college fairs and information on various scholarship opportunities
